Predicting Ruptures on Operating Pipeline (PROP) Systems is a web-based service that employs a series of proprietary algorithms that combine weather data, soil behavior and metallurgy, to mitigate and reduce harmful gas emissions and explosions and automatically detect when your gas piping system isn’t behaving as expected. Our recommendations will enable leaders to more quickly direct emergency gas leak surveys and repair crews to at-risk areas to minimize risk to people, pipes and property. PROP Systems 25 years + of investigative activities include field survey, maintenance and internet research. We have also evaluated gas and water pipe ruptures both nationwide and worldwide.

Vision
Working with trusted, local trade allies, our vision is to provide safe, available predictive analytic services to significantly mitigate harmful emissions and deadly explosions associated with the U.S.’s most at-risk natural gas infrastructure, which is primarily located in the northeast and mid-west. We will eventually extend our services into areas of the country which due to climate change, may be experiencing extreme cold weather events for the first time. America’s aging water distribution systems have been evaluated for possible synergies, leveraged from PROP Systems work with aging natural gas distribution systems. PROP Systems has also evaluated predictive and response possibilities associated with earthquakes.

OUR MISSION
PROP (Predicting Ruptures on Operating Pipeline) Systems mission is to immediately deploy proven advanced technologies that safely protect customers and businesses by using predictive analytics to prevent aging natural gas pipeline ruptures which cause harmful emissions and deadly explosions. We continuously modify our algorithms in response to changes discovered in the dynamic environment of weather and underground infrastructure. Our proactive strategies and algorithms will improve daily operations, resource management, advise people, companies, regulators, and trial lawyers who assist clients in obtaining safe, fair, and successful outcomes.
The Three Focus areas that underpin PROP System’s Mission are:
Duty
Duty is the moral courage to commit in thought, words, and deeds to help our partners do the right thing unto others as you would have others do unto you, regardless of the opposition, because others are equals and it’s the right thing to do. Be wary of those who refuse to correctly do their job and despise you for doing the right thing. Have the courage to do the right thing, even if you must walk alone. Ask questions, such as what’s the worst that can happen, then act. No matter how diverse the job or team, make moments for them to feel, see, hear and almost taste the results of their hard work. Your circle of stakeholders is far wider than you think!
Honor
Honor is our and your integrity. The scorecard. We will communicate honestly, tactfully, and consistently. Own the accountability for the things you and your team does and fails to do. Like and love the person you see in the mirror and in moments of truth. Demand this of those around you and avoid dishonest people as much as possible. Timely communicate news, either good or bad. Do not tolerate people who lie, cheat or steal. Coverups are far more harmful to you than the deed which was done. If you are unsure about taking a tough or complicated action or decision, pray and imagine telling your friends, family or a future audience about your decision, today. Do not buckle under peer pressure to do wrong. Once you are caught doing wrong, those wrong performing peers will avoid you.
Safety
We sincerely encourage our partners to ensure safety and truth in every breath you take. You are trusted by everyone around you to be safe and demand that they perform safe acts. There is no such thing as the phrase “there’s a right way, a wrong way and the way we do things.” There is only a right way with safety. Mistakes are tolerable if they explained and owned. There must still be accountability and a promise not to repeat. Shortcuts may be successful in the short term, but may eventually injure, kill or destroy. There’s only a right way with safety.
