INTERACTIVE PIPELINE SITING BREAKOUT SESSION<\/strong><\/div>

On Friday November 14, 2025, PROP Systems\u2019 David Miles participated in a Pipeline Safety Trust Conference (https:\/\/pstrust.org\/pipeline-safety-trust-conference\/<\/a>) interactive breakout session named\u00a0\u00a0\u201cSafe Gas\u00a0Pipeline Siting\u201d led by Doug CrowGhost and his 16-year-old son Treuth (pictured above). Both are members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Mobridge, South Dakota. Doug\u2019s father and Treuth\u2019s godfathers provided additional moral support. \u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

This interactive session placed participants into multidisciplinary teams who assumed the roles of various decision-makers and stakeholders who are tasked with siting a new pipeline. Teams were confronted with the real-world constraints of safety, environmental protection, community impacts, and risk and had to balance the competing priorities that shape routing decisions. The exercise sparked discussion about how these choices are made, whose interests are considered, and how empathetic pipeline siting processes can better reflect safe gas delivery and public accountability.
